Tutoring to Learn Security, I'm located in Woodburn, Oregon. I do like to work with ages 10 years old and up. I prefer to get parents to do the "How to Study" so they can help their children. My protocol is to FIRST start the student to LEARN HOW TO STUDY. From there I can help where difficulty arises. Having the student find where they were falling short in knowing why it wasn't coming together.

I was in my late 20’s when I started working with Tes and the poodles. She had me start the study tech, which I am not going to lie I was skeptical about it. I am a pretty independent person and like to do my own thing, however I did not notice then when it came to the “job” we rely on our bosses to tell us what needs to get done, and if we don’t understand something we expect them to give the answer.
The study tech will give you confidence in your work/school/and daily life. I currently work for a hospital/clinic in the billing department dealing with insurance companies all day. I have confidence when dealing with insurance companies because I KNOW what I am talking about. If I do not understand a word (which there are a lot in the health field), I know how to grab a dictionary and look it up. In my experience, insurance companies will throw any excuse they can to not pay for things, so being prepared and able to argue your case is beneficial for the company and for the patient.
I also have two kids that have had issues with classes/assignments; many teachers just give the answers and don’t teach the kids how to solve the problem themselves. Teaching my kids how to study has helped them understand their assignments and with that, their confidence has soared. DG
I am a tutor. In 2024 I was asked to help a college student with their curriculum. The parent wanted me to spoon feed answers to the student. I was flabbergasted at the request. I explained I would never do that. I explained I have students go back and look for words they didn't understand, use the dictionary to look up the word. Have several dictionaries at hand to research and look for the correct definition of its use in the sentence. They explained there were no dictionaries in the home and no one has dictionaries anymore. I certainly did my best to flow positive vibrations explaining several of the best ways of study, having dictionaries at hand etc.
I explained as an employer (and I have had enough employees go through the How to Study course I provided), I couldn't hire anyone that wouldn't think for themself, to know what they've read and learned, to be able to have a dictionary at hand to understand their job with what they are to do that they were constantly asking me what they're to do because they didn't understand the checklist of the job. WOAH, it did stop me in my tracks, where I had to take a deep breath to flow as much positive vibrations her way, that I CAN and DO help students with my tutoring methods. No, they would find someone else was the answer.
I hate to micro-manage any staff, yet see it becoming something some employers are doing because staff don't know how to read to KNOW TO LEARN WITH SECURITY what their job is.

In MN, 1980s, I worked with an autistic young lady who was an able person but prone to seizures. She had a difficult time in school and her mother asked if I would tutor her. I helped the young teenager with the How to Study technology, finding her misunderstood words, having her dictionary IN THE CLASSROOM with her, and not being afraid to ask the teacher more questions for having "Mass" on a subject (more objects to see what was being studied). I'd help her go back to observe where she was doing well, find what she didn't understand, she'd clear any misunderstood words and then re-read the area using the Study technology.
When we'd meet to work more on her studies, she would explain so proudly how she would get her dictionary out in the classroom, open to look up a word, to tell the teacher she needed more mass, and was now grasping so much more. In time she was able to graduate with her class and thankful I had shown her How To Study.
Tes taught me to learn more completely. She made sure that I understood what I was reading, when I did not know a word's definition correctly it would be evident, she showed me how to correct it. She taught some beneficial habits that changed how I was learning and expanded my toolkit. Her tutoring was beneficial. CH

To become knowledgeable about your job/career is essential in your security. Taking classes to continue to grow with the ever changing times will give you that edge in knowing what your job is needing of you, what the future is moving toward and how you are able to move with it.
Asking your employer to help you succeed benefits everyone, don't be afraid to ask them to help pay for classes pertaining to your job. A great employer will ASK YOU to learn more about your job and provide some remuneration in your doing so. I had "In House" training for my staff, where we all benefited.
Once one starts to learn the Study Technology, you'll wonder why you didn't learn this from the start of schooling. That's okay, you'll be anew with life to ignite the growing into learning how to study correctly to have security in what you plan for your life.
