Royal Standard Poodle Apricot Neopy is a Giant of a girl. I pronounce it Nee-o-pee. She comes to me at 3 yrs old after having her first litter in TX with Super Duper Standard Poodles who is retiring. (That's what I'm suppose to do too ;o) Neopy's AKC registered name is Rockin' What's the Deal Lucille. I'm calling her "Neopy" from my fantasy novel, a fantasy flower I created from the peony. She responds extremely well to her new name. Neopy was purchased from the Colorado Red Standard Poodles, the Pony size Poodles.
Mating to my Bruno frozen semen will be bringing you some magnificent HUGE Pony offspring to love! It'll be an ALL Black litter in Oregon. Frozen semen with Bruno has produced 4-7 puppies a litter.
If you look at past dams with Bruno pups, you'll see the wonderful Royal offspring he has brought to us. Neopy will help continue to bring customers the Royal Standard Poodle size so enjoyed by many.

Vibrations! Sometimes we don't realize the vibrations from a word, a name, a sound. The animal world goes on this CONSISTENTLY! Smell of course is a key factor for them as well.
I drove all the way by myself, Oregon to Texas to bring Queen to her new owners and pick up Neopy as she completed weaning her first litter. Traveling like this is great bonding, helping each other with walks, stretching our legs, someone to talk to as she looks at me to choose her new name.
She wasn't responding to the vibrations from me in calling her current name "Lucille" when I called her so I decided to choose a name from my fantasy novel "A Perfect World - Tatriel" which I named my line from - A Perfect World. To see what vibration would hit her chord. The book will become a trilogy in time, that's why I want to stand down from breeding to focus on writing again as I get older and pass it on to the young ;o)
It was interesting watching my new friend as I called out different names. Then I called out "Neopy"? She heard the names vibration and loved it! Every time I tried another name, she turned away. Then I'd come back to calling out "Neopy" and she'd look at me! There it was - what vibration she wanted to be called with.
It is my recommendation when your choosing your pet's name, listen to how it sounds in calling out. One will be driven to have to yell at our pets with some commands as they learn, not very positive sometimes yet the animal world, like our kids, must learn with INTENTION behind our calls. FEEL the vibration of the name called out calmly AND loudly with INTENTION. Will they respond? How does the vibration feel to you? Anger - it's a negative vibration so look at the INTENTION behind your voice and command. Totally two different vibrations, do you feel it? Learn to shift your vibration so they don't fear you, they will learn to respect you as their pack leader.
I can help you hear it in a phone call, to visit on how to do know the difference if you need. Feel it, observe the vibration flow.
Don't feel bad if you decide you need to change their name if they just don't get the vibration to be theirs. Try another, and another as you read about my drive in naming Neopy. The vibration WILL hit them and they'll acknowledge you with the right one :o)

A story for you about a customer name:
I sold a brown puppy to a Chinese scientist who flew to our farm in MN to get his boy. Some of the Chinese look at color as good fortune or different vibrations. He wanted to name the puppy "Brown". Well the puppy would NOT respond to his calling out. I knew it was "TOO" soft, not a strong vibration for him to want to respond. I finally shared to try another name but the color name was important to the customer. So, we're standing in the yard, I call out "MISTER Brown", he perked up immediately. I told the customer to call him with that, "Mister Brown - COME." The puppy came running! Mister - that was the vibration that hit the puppy's chord.
Do you sense, feel the different vibrations? Practice it in your life. This is only one story of many names I've helped people re-look at. Find the right vibration for you two :o)
